Global Warming.

Do you believe in Global Warming?
Well you should. We have been having
beautiful 70 degree weather in November.
This was November 11th when we could
still bike ride. We started from the art museum and
rode along the white river towpath

One of the changing exhibits to the art museum entry

I did not get any photos but I took in the exhibit
of Madeleine Albright, pins. There were 300 of them
and they all were interesting and she wore them to
create a mood or to send a message when she met with
different heads of state when she was secretary
of state for the U.S. This is bluebird pin was a typical
example of one of the pins.
We were able to lunch al fresco in the beautiful
art museum outdoor cafe area.
This day was serendipitous.

Medicaire and Social Security!

Who says turning 65 is all bad?
Heck, you get to be on the dole.
You are still young enough to swing a racquet,
ride a bike, zip line, swim and stay up late
enough to party with any of the young ones
who may like a challenge.
Enjoy some scenes from various birthday
celebrations this month.

Little Dee's 1st trick or treating.

I was not able to be with my grandson
for his 1st trick or treat outing.
He was a firefighter and wore a hat
that had a siren. Just look at his face.
I got to skype with him earlier.
I think this little face must have been a treat to all the
neighbors. These photos were taken by a neighbor.
When I spoke to him earlier I wore a mardi gras mask
and a blonde wig. I must be the only grandma who would
traumatize a kid.

This is what Halloween is really all about!

I live in an adult community and I

never get any kids coming to trick or treat

so I spent the last evening with my cousins

who live in a young community. There were

more than 100 kids who came by.We had lady bug who was clearly scared.
There were some convicts

We dressed and sat outdoors scaring them
furthur.

Nice box of popcorn here.

Harry Potter and Hermoine were there.

Wonder woman stopped by.

My nieces are very creative.

Better than your average jack o lanterns.

Yes that's me as a blonde pirate having a mojito.

Round 2# of Halloween!

The Cat in the Hat and the Sasquatch
Lady Godiva not Marie Antoinette

Scary people

This is even scarier above. A super hero decides
he should join Sonny Bono and be a polititcian
after all any one can do better than our current crop of
politicians. Vote for "Big Al" for senator.
Our host and hostess wears real outfits that
once belonged to their fathers. People were
tiny back then.

Pre-partying at my house

This witch flew in from Slovakia

by broomstick. She picked up

a Jameson's shot glass via Ireland Below we have Orange and a Bolivian lady

This is a hippie with no dental plan

though married to a doctor.

A better view of my" super cure " themed

costume while the accidental

tourist grabs a bite.

Halloween is fun. Most people try and I give
them all a big hand for efforts.

Round #1 of Halloween Gatherings.

Round #1 was at the home of the
Wongs. We had an assortment of
people . Above is Rico the nosy chef and Tony the Scary one.
Susie above is a good witch.

Winners of best costumes above are
a crab and jelly fish suffering from the oil spill.

We have a grim reaper and a super hero fighting
breast cancer having drinks with a geisha.

Here is a pimp hanging out with the
nutty professor

The winner of the San fermin running with the bulls
meets up with an arab

Here's your basic white trash and cereal killer.

My computer guru came to work as a storm trooper.
And so it starts with more to come.
