Fall Shenanigans.

Fall is a bittersweet time because it is the

precursor of winter. But since fall dishes up

blue skies juxtaposed against foilage of yellows,

oranges, reds and greens and crisp cool weather it

is a wonderful time to get outdoors. That is exactly

what is going on here. Here are shots from Minnesota

at a hobby farm owned by a ENT surgeon who invites

all his colleagues and their family to a picnic. He owns

lots of farm equipment and a fire engine. Besides he

provides a chuckwagon of barbecue. There are hayrides,

skeet shooting and pumpkins for the kids.
My Grandson who loves tractors and fire engines was in heaven

Hay rides through the woods

Diggers and such

Then two weeks earlier we had an adult

fall frolic amongst the cornfields of Greenfield, Indiana

We got lost in a corn maze and cheated

a little bit to get out. Don't tell anyone we did that.

The largest pumpkin that I have seen.

Was it real? I'll never tell.

Pumpkinheads 'r us

Okay, fall is a time when crops have to be reaped
and the farm has to be winterized. Life on a farm
is always busy as work has to be done.
Some people simulate these activities when
they play farmville on facebook. I really don't get it.
Maybe I am a city slicker.
